Welcome to Shwab
Welcome to Shwab Elementary! At Shwab, we truly believe that without vision it's impossible to know where you're going. Therefore, we always begin each day with the end in mind. We have built our roadmap for success and each day we greet our students with an attitude that we are focused on learning. Our teachers work with our students daily and help them set and achieve their goals. We invite you to come along our journey of success both mentally and physically as we know "Together Everyone Achieves More". So, as you tour our site, if you like what you see we invite you to come join in on the success of our students and our fun by volunteering within our school community!
Shwab Celebrates Our 2nd Consecutive District Teacher of the Year!
While many in Nashville were celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Shwab Elementary was celebrating our 2nd consecutive year of having one of our very own awarded the honor of being selected as District Teacher of the Year. Tanisha Wesby, pictured above with Dr. Register, is a first grade teacher who has made a great impact on the Shwab community. From the moment she arrived at Shwab, she has served our school and her students with great diligence and pride. With a smile on her face, she greets her students each morning and inspires them to be the best Shwabee they can be.
